Special Events are held at the Botanical
Gardens of Asheville throughout the year.
2010
is the 50th Anniversary of the Gardens. To celebrate this milestone,
we have planned many special events
scheduled this year.
Several plant sale fundraisers are
regularly held to
help defray the costs of operating the Gardens. The 2010 calendar
includes special 50th
Anniversary Fundraisers which include a guided wildflower walk at Pearson
Falls and a guided wildflower and bird walk at Lake
Junaluska. The Days in the
Gardens plant sale and raffle is held the first
weekend in May. The Fall Plant Sale is held the first or second Saturday in
September.
The
Gardens is a popular location for weddings and other special occasions;
